- Registration for Wikimania Katowice (7–10 August 2024) is still open. Register to attend in-person or virtually until 26 July.
- The call for presentation submissions for the WikiArabia 2024 is open (until July 28).

- The Community Tech team launched a new, continuous Community Wishlist. Wish submission is now open and can be filled at any time.
- Join the Product and Technology Advisory Council (PTAC) as technical volunteers. Applications are open until August 10.
- A new task force was formed to replace the disabled Graph with more secure, easy to use, and extendible Chart. You can subscribe to the newsletter to get notified about new project updates and other news about Chart.
- CampaignEvents extension, add an Image feature on iOS Wikipedia app and more recent changes from the Tech News. Read also other news in the previous edition.
- Dark mode – one of the most requested features will transform Wikipedia’s accessibility and is now available on select wikis, on mobile and desktop, in both reading and editing mode!
- MediaWiki insights into work done to improve security, ease of use, maintainability and overall code health. Also, a 25% increase in the number of authors who have committed more than 5 patches!

- Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees published its decision not to ratify the draft Movement Charter along with proposed next steps (minutes, resolution, appendix).
- Movement Charter voting is closed. At the time of drafting, the scrutineers are working to ensure that all votes on the ballot are valid.

- Wikimedia Foundation’s Accreditation to the World Intellectual Property Organization was blocked for a fourth time by China.
