The Dagbani Wikimedians User Group successfully organized the Art and Feminism Writing Challenge 2026 across three of its active Wiki Hubs, namely the Bimbico Wiki Hub, the TACE Wiki Hub, and the BACE Wiki Hub. The challenge was held from July 19th to August 3rd, 2026, bringing together passionate volunteers who worked diligently to improve the coverage of women on Wikimedia platforms.
The challenge specifically focused on women in the healthcare sector. Participants created and improved articles about notable women whose work and achievements have made significant contributions to healthcare, medicine, nursing, public health, medical research, and related fields. Through this initiative, contributors helped address the gender gap in online knowledge by ensuring that the stories and accomplishments of these remarkable women were better documented and made freely accessible to people around the world.
The challenge also served as an opportunity for participants to strengthen their research, writing, referencing, and editing skills while contributing high-quality content to Wikimedia projects. Editors from the three Wiki Hubs worked with dedication and demonstrated that community collaboration remains one of the strongest pillars of the Wikimedia movement.

To recognize the commitment and outstanding performance of participants, the following prizes were awarded:

- 2nd Prize: GH₵250.00
- 3rd Prize: GH₵150.00
- Top Female Contributor: A special award was presented to the highest-performing female participant who did not place first, second, or third overall.
