DCW Conversation Hour May 2023

The aim of the May 2023’s DCW Conversation Hour is to explore the impact of Wikipedia on Non-Conventional Education. The guest speaker is Bilal Ali Ansari, an Islamic scholar, who chairs the Academic Advisory Committee and Department of Hadith at Darul Qasim College, in Illinois. Titled as Mawlana, Bilal Ali Ansari has degrees in Computer Engineering and Applied Behavioral Sciences from the University of Illinois and National-Louis University in Lisle, respectively.

Bilal Ali Ansari is an academician and author and has contributed in several works. His publications include Islamic Perspectives on Psychological and Spiritual Well-Being and Treatment and Exploring the Role of Mental Status & Expert Testimony in the Islamic Judicial Process.

In this conversation, we would learn from the speaker about various methods adopted at Darul Qasim College, and in particular, how the DCW can contribute in shaping the environment concerning Wikipedia in such “non-conventional educational institutions”.
