The 2012 Wiki Loves Monuments jury in Belgium and Luxembourg chose ten stunning photographs as finalists for the international Wiki Loves Monument photo contest. During the month of September, 219 photographers uploaded 4,139 images of Belgian monuments and 16 photographers uploaded  267 images of monuments in Luxembourg. The top ten photographs include several cemeteries and churchyards, an iconic thatched-roof cottage, a historic henhouse, a vibrant red windmill and an aerial shot of the Pont de Jambes bridge.
Wiki Loves Monuments is the largest photo contest in the world with more than 15,000 people uploading over 360,000 images in 2012. Stay tuned as the international winners will be announced on Monday, 3 December 2012.
