Hello from Singapore and beyond! We are excited to share with you a quick recap of the second day of Wikimania 2023 and a preview of what to expect for day three.
AI is on the minds and microprocessors of many right now. The panel discussion, “ChatGPT vs. WikiGPT: Challenges and Opportunities in harnessing generative AI for Wikimedia Projects” saw people from diverse backgrounds discuss the future of Wikimedia projects in the time of generative AI. Shani Evenstein-Sigalov facilitated a panel including Jimmy Wales, Andrew Lih, Netha Hussain, and Galder Gonzalez. You can watch the recording on YouTube.
