With more than 2,100 attendees—over 1,500 virtually and more than 670 in person—we are happy to report that Wikimania 2023 was the largest Wikimania ever. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, organized, performed and spoke—you made Wikimania Singapore a success. Over the last four days, we learned from each other, collaborated on new projects, laughed together, danced together, sang some karaoke, and celebrated our work to build free knowledge for the world.

Saturday saw the announcement of the winners of the Wiki Loves Living Heritage photography competition. Here’s a few of the winning photos!

Did you miss a session? You can find all recorded sessions on YouTube. They will be available as individual videos soon, and will then be available on Wikimedia Commons.

Although Wikimania 2023 has come to a close, there are many activities planned for Sunday. For people still around in Singapore, check out the related events page on the Wikimania wiki.

Help us celebrate Wikimania 2023 and make future events even better: Take the post-event survey! The survey is available in the languages of Wikimania Singapore: Arabic, English, Spanish, French, Indonesian, and Chinese. We look forward to seeing you at Wikimania 2024 next year in Kraków, Poland!
