The Wikimania Hackathon 2023 is happening in Singapore from 15-19 August. This is the first in-person event since 2019 and will be held at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event is open to participants of all experience levels, from newcomers to experienced technical contributors.
The program will feature two tracks: a Newcomer Track with introductory sessions and workshops, and an Unconference Track with breakout rooms for sessions identified during the event. A main hacking space will be available throughout the event for collaborative work.
The first day will feature an opening session, orientation for newcomers, mentor matching, project matching, and also a social event at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. There will be dedicated spaces on the following days for hacking and unconference sessions. The event will conclude with a showcase and closing ceremony on 19 August.
