♻️ Adding and Subtracting Wikidata for linguistic analysis in specialized domains

♻️ This event is part of the Wikidata Data Reuse Days 2022.

Ontologies deal with entities, agents, events and ideas, while linguistic resources (Propbank, Verbnet, Wordnet) describe the verbs and nouns we use to describe them. We’ve worked on ‘adding’ Wikidata to these linguistic resources and applying the resulting graph to applications in specialized domains (the ‘subtracting’ part). We’ll discuss how we are leveraging Wikidata in a variety of projects and share the resulting graphs (to be published in github)
