DCW Conversation Hour April 2023

The talk shines a light on how to engage productively and constructively with the grants processes, both as an applicant and a reviewer. Rohini will speak about some of the nuances of a publicly conducted processes for grants applications and review, and provide some practical tips on writing grants applications and reviewing them, along with some examples about what to avoid while writing and reviewing them. Rohini has been a Wikimedian for more than 14 years. In this time, she served on the erstwhile Simple Annual Plan Grants Committee for a few years and co-applied for one Project Grant, which was successfully granted. This talk will be an updated version of the talk she delivered at the CIS-A2K Train The Trainer 2018.
