We want to invite you to participate in this learning clinic, in which we’ll reflect on how to motivate and retain volunteers in your communities.
What is this session for? Organisers put a lot of effort into outreach and training but often get frustrated when their volunteer base does not grow. In this Learning Clinic, Asaf Bartov will take us through some of the key practices to improve volunteer outreach, training, motivation and retention based on many years of experience working with different Wikimedia communities around the world. In this interactive session, we will also hear from participants and what has worked or not worked for them in different contexts. Together we can build a tool kit of some good practices that will be useful for the Movement.
